Global visa -free population accounts for 21%
UNWTO said in the openness report on the visa policy this time that since the release of the previous report in 2018, South Asia and West Africa have improved their openness to the largest degree.So far, the regions with the largest restrictions on international tourism are still China Africa, North Africa, North America, and Nordic and Western Europe.
However, the visa situation in the Middle East has improved. The proportion of the population of traditional visas to the Middle East requires a traditional visa from 71%in 2015 to 57%in 2023.
