Look for Paul addition to make Warriors better

Chris Paul joining the Golden State Warriors continues to be a major topic of conversation. People have been questioning whether or not Paul is a good fit for the Warriors, and some have even claimed that the Golden State Warriors made a mistake in acquiring the veteran point guard in the first place. However, Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine believes that the Warriors will be better with Paul in the rotation.

In a recent interview with NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole, LaVine shared his thoughts on how Paul would fit into the Warriors rotation alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

“Yeah, they’re both high-level, high-IQ players,” LaVine said.” They’ll figure it out, especially with Curry’s movement and Klay’s openness on the floor, and the addition of Paul will make them a bigger threat. CP can be the operator on the floor. I can see them lining up in two-guard, three-guard lineups.”

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr kept his mouth shut when asked about Paul’s potential matchups with Curry and Thompson during Team USA’s training session ahead of the FIBA World Cup, noting that those decisions would be made during training camp.

Nonetheless, the Golden State Warriors’ guard rotation will certainly have some teething problems to work out, especially with Cory Joseph in the mix. The Warriors now have two of the best point guards of all time, which can only be positive for them heading into the upcoming season.
