Jordan sold the Hornets successfully

It is reported that the flying man Michael Jordan has successfully sold most of the shares held by the Charlotte Hornets, and now he is only the small boss of the team.
Jordan said in a statement: “I am very pleased to hand over the Hornets to Gabe and Rick, two successful, innovative and strategic leaders. I know the Hornets will be rewarded in the future development. Great management. I am excited about the future of the franchise and will continue to support the Hornets and local community for years to come.”
The acquisition was valued at about $3 billion; Jordan paid $275 million for a majority stake in the team in 2010.

Plotkin and Schnell, the new majority owners of the team, said in a joint statement: “We would like to thank Michael for giving us this opportunity and for his support throughout the process. During his time with the Hornets, he brought stability, achieved many commercial milestones, reconnected and reinvested in the Charlotte community, and made the Hornets even more successful. We look forward to seeing more in the days to come make persistent efforts”.
Their vision, they said, is to take the Hornets to a “higher level” on and off the court.
“We are committed to building a highly competitive basketball team, developing innovative business practices, giving back to our community and connecting with our fans. We plan to further invest in the team, facilities and fan experience with the goal of providing Fans throughout the Carolinas bring the win. We believe our successful business background and previous experience as a small NBA owner will serve us well as we franchise “build the Hornets into a premier organization.”
